1820-1 - Portrait of Sir Patrick Dun

Framed three quarter length seated portrait of Sir Patrick Dun in the scarlet robes of Doctor of Physic of the University of Dublin, Dun holds a book and letter in his hands. When presented to RCPI in 1820 the work was recorded as painted by Sir Godfrey Kneller, however the monogram TP on the work indicates that Pooley is the artist.
