7 - Spent Bullet Case

Spent bullet case from the volley fired over the grave of Kathleen Lynn at her funeral. Headstamp around edge of bottom of cartridge reads: "G.18.F1/VII.Z". Kathleen Lynn was buried in her family plot in Deansgrange Cemetary, Dublin, in September 1955. Lynn was awarded full military honours at her funeral, for the part she played in the 1916 Rising.
