2019-19-1 - Davidson Pneumothorax Apparatus

Rectangular wooden case with metal locks and top handle, containing a Davidson pneumothorax apparatus by Louis Davidson, patented in 1933 and made by J. Sklar Manufacturing Company. Includes manometer, two syringe-like air reservoirs with valves and tubing, and an engraved metal plate with scale and instructions. Belonged to Dr. Neil John Blayney and donated by his grandson.
