1 - Governing Statutes

This section contains papers relating to the granting, and modifying, of the College Charters and Grant of Arms. The first Charter was granted to the College by Charles II in 1667, this charter was returned on the granting of a second in 1692, although the text is preserved in Dun's Book (RCPI/1/1/2). The College Charter of 1692 is still the principle governing regulation of the College today, the Charter had been modified by number of Letters Patent, a Parliamentary Order and Bill.
