Dr Kathleen Lynn €15 silver proof coin. Issued by the Cental Bank of Ireland; produced by IPZS, Italy. Encased in plastic coin capsule in dark blue presentation box and accompanied by certificate of authenticity (coin is No. 1 of 2000 issued).

Commemorative pen produced for the 32nd International Congress on Occupational Health (ICOH) held in Dublin from 29th April to 4th May 2018. Green and white plastic casing with ICOH website name and date of event written on one side. Retractable. Black ink.

2018

Commemorative coin marking the 350th anniversary of the founding of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Obverse: the College's coat of arms with the words "Celebrating 350 years" in copper-coloured lettering on the shield, atop the crowned harp. Reverse: blank.

2004

Rectangular, [copper] printing plate used by the King and Queen's College of Physicians in Ireland (later RCPI) in the issuing of licences. Text engraved on the plate appears in reverse. The name "R. WILSON/24 HARP ALLEY/SHOE LANE/LONDON" stamped on the reverse twice. Surface is concave. Some patination along edges.

Circular, silver salver with pie crust rim and raised on three scroll feet. Engraved with the inscription "Presented by/THE ROYAL COLLEGE of PHYSICIANS of LONDON/to mark the/TERCENTENARY CELEBRATIONS/of the/ROYAL COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS of IRELAND/October 1992". Stamped on the reverse with the maker's mark "C.J.V LD", Sheffield hallmarks for the year 1992, and the words "MADE IN ENGLAND".

Hand seal of the President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Ivory handle with circular metal die depicting the College's coat of arms - the celestial hand descending from a cloud with a crowned harp underneath - surrounded by the words (in reverse) "SIGILLUM PRAESIDIS COLLEGII MEDICORUM REGII HIBERNIAE". Part of handle near metal die is damaged. Accompanied by two samples of the seal, in red wax, backed by cardboard, one with a handwritten note stating "President's Seal". Obverse: the profile bust of Jacob, facing left, with his surname to the right and the medal designer's name "W WOODHOUSE F" in smaller font, below. Reverse: a laurel wreath enclosing the words " IN COMMEMORATION [OF] EMINENT SERVICES RENDERED TO SCIENCE AND THE MEDICAL PROFESSION IN IRELAND 1860" and around the edge, the words "ARTHUR JACOB. M.D. F.R.C.S. PROF. OF ANAT. & PHYS. ROY. COLL. OF SURG. IN IRELAND."

Silver dish ring with dark blue glass liner. Edwardian Irish silver of waisted circular form, decorated in the Georgian taste with chased laurel swags and oval rosettes over pierced fluting and scrollwork bands. Engraved with a crown above the initials "WD". Stamped with the maker's initials "W&W" and Dublin hallmarks for the year 1913.

Framed medal bearing the profile portrait of Henry Quin (1717-1791). Obverse: around the head are the words "HENRICVS QVIN.M.D." and in smaller font below the neck is the maker's name "W.MOSSOP.F". Medal at centre of gilt mounted black lacquer frame with suspension loop at top.

1750-1799

Bronze prize medal issued by the Royal Dublin Society. Obverse: the crest of the Royal Dublin Society surrounded by the motto "NOSTRI PLENA LABORIS" with the words "ROYAL DUBLIN SOCIETY/INSTD 1731" and the maker's name, "W. WOODHOUSE" in smaller font, below. Reverse: at the centre surrounded by a laurel wreath are the words "Miss Drebar./2ND BEST WHITE CRESTED/BLACK FOWL/under 1 year" and around the edge are the words "SPRING CATTLE SHOW 1860".

Silver medal in black presentation box. Obverse: the crest and motto of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland surrounded by the words "COLLEGII MEDICORUM REGII HIBERNIAE". Reverse: in the centre, the words "The Sir Dominic Corrigan Medal" surrounded by the words "'Presented by the Corrigan Club & the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland". Also the maker's mark "JMCo" and hallmarks for Dublin, [1960]. On the inside lid of the box is the name "West & Son/Goldsmiths and Silversmiths/Grafton House/Dublin". The blue fabric inside has faded except for underneath where the medal lay.

Silver water jug of baluster form with s-scroll handle containing two non-metal [ivory] inserts and rim with scaled and fluted decoration, the body with repoussé floral garlands, on a circular spreading foot. Body inscribed: "To/WM. STOKES ESQRE. M.D: M.R.I.A./Physician to the Meath Hospital & Lecturer in the Practice/of Medicine in the Park St. School of Medicine DUBLIN,/This token is presented as a testimony of their/ESTEEM & REGARD,/By his/Grateful & Attached/PUPILS./NON IMMEMORES BENEFICII./Dublin May 2d./1839." Base stamped with the maker's initials "J.M" and Dublin hallmarks for the year 1837.

Bust of Dr. Leonard Abrahamson (1896-1961). Bronze head on a white marble cube base. Inscription in golden lettering on base reads: "LEONARD ABRAHAMSON/M.D., F.R.C.P.I./PRESIDENT 1949 1951." Irish School, 20th century.

1900-1999

Hand seal of the King and Queen's College of Physicians in Ireland (later RCPI). Possibly the Registrar's seal. Ivory handle with circular metal die depicting a shield in the centre with Hercules slaying the Hydra. Underneath is the motto "INVIDET.ORCO". Around the edge (in reverse) are the words "SIGILL:REGISTR:COLL:MED:REGIS:ET:REGIN:IN.HIB". Accompanied by a small square of cardboard upon which is a sample of the seal, in red wax, and a handwritten note stating "The College Arms in use up to 1864". Metal teapot. The letters "S.P.D.H/N.H" stamped on right side of spout. The centre of the base is stamped "EPNS HARD SOLDERED/MADE IN/SHEFFIELD/ENGLAND" and underneath this, "1 PINT". Handle decorated with small perforations, eight at top and eight at bottom.

Bronze medal. Obverse: crowned bust of Queen Victoria, facing left, surrounded by the words "VICTORIA BY THE GRACE OF GOD QVEEN MDCCCLVI" and below the neck, the maker's name "W. WYON. R.A." Reverse: the words "LOCAL PRIZE/FOR SVCCESS IN/ART AWARDED BY/THE DEPARTMENT/OF SCIENCE/AND ART" surrounded by a wreath. The edge is engraved with the words "JOHN WOODHOUSE. DUBLIN. STAGE 23. 1859".

Coffee set formerly belonging to Dr. Kathleen Lynn (1874-1955). Comprised of five cups and seven saucers. White with gold trim.

[1900-1949]

Framed half-length portrait of Alexander Jackson (c.1768-1848) Oil on canvas. Irish School, 19th century. Nameplate on frame reads: "ALEXANDER JACKSON/M.D., L.R.Q.C.P./Hon. Fellow./DIED MARCH 19TH, 1848, Age 80 yrs." Jackson was physician to the Richmond Lunatic Asylum at Grangegorman where he made many improvements. He was appointed State Physician in 1803.

[1830s]

Silver gilt ciborium with detachable lid. The stem in the form of St. Luke, holding a text and with two cattle at his feet. Celtic banded decoration around rim of bowl and foot. The lid finial in the form of two hands. Figure of St. Luke and finial hand cast from wax model, Ref. No. HI/1948-1-1. Bowl is inscribed "PRAESIDI SOCIISQUE/COLLEGII MEDICORUM REGII HIBERNIAE/PRAESES BETHEL SOLOMONS/DONO DEDIT/DIE FESTO SANCTO LUCAE./A.D. MCMXLVIII." and stamped with the maker's initials "A&M" and Dublin hallmarks for the year 1948.
